Hydrocolloid Dressing
Hydrocolloid dressings consist of gel forming agents to which have been added adhesives, elastomers. They are presented as a flexible sheet which is coated with a layer of the hydrocolloid base and covered with a piece of release paper.
Characteristics:
1. Good absorbency for exudation from the wound.
2. Keep the wound moist and accelerate the wound healing,reduce the pain and avoid the secondary damage to thewound.
3. Waterproof, permeable and prevent the wound from bacteria outside.
4. Excellent elasticity and self-adhesive, easy for application.
5. Change the dressing when it turns white.
6. Easy for peeling off and it will not stick to the wound and keep patients comfortable.

-low or moderate exuded wounds
-Crura venous ulcer
-I-II degree bedsores
-Small superficial burn wound
-Postoperation wounds
-Donated skin area
-Superficial wound and beauty operation wound
-Period of granulation and epithelialisation of chronic wound
